Fully lined black strapless dress in stretch ribbed fabric. Dressing for Your Body Type. No matter what your size and shape are, all bodies can be wear to perfection. As much as I would love for you to be perfectly content in the shape you have and to dress in what you love rather than for the body part you hate, I know that may not be realistic. Still, there are ways to maximize and minimize what you deem to be “problem” areas.

Top Part of Your Body
How to Minimize
A supportive bra is your first line of defense. You should find one that contains and supports you. If your breasts are toppling out of the cups, not only is that how they’ll appear in a fitted shirt, but when you bend over your breasts will literally fall out of your bra.
The back band of the bra should lie straight across without riding up or creating back overhang, the cups should lie flat against your body, and the straps should not dig into your shoulders. I would highly suggest getting a professional bra fitting!
Crossover styles, wraps, and V-necks accentuate your top half and often eliminate gaping and pulling fabrics. If you are uncomfortable with cleavage, buy layering tanks for modesty.
How to Maximize
You can choose to wear a bra or leave it at home. If you want some extra help, try a padded bra or gel inserts. Avoid clothing that is too loose around the bust, such as those with built-in seams or cups. Wear fitted boatnecks or crewnecks. If you want to appear bustier, try ruffles, extra material, or layered jewelry on top. You can also wear the deep-plunge styles seen frequently in formal attire.
